Terms for using openchats

Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using openchats, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Who may use openchats

License you grant to openchats

When you upload or publish content on openchats, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, adapt, display, publish, and distribute that content as needed to operate, improve, and promote the service.

This includes making shared chats available in feeds, profile pages, rankings, notifications, and other product surfaces. This license ends within a commercially reasonable time after content is deleted from active services, except to the extent the content remains in backups, logs, or where retention is required for legal or safety reasons.

Service rules

You agree not to misuse openchats. This includes attempting unauthorized access, interfering with the service, scraping the platform in a way we do not permit, evading limits, creating fake engagement, or using the product to distribute harmful or unlawful material.

Browser extension and imported chats

If you use the browser extension or other import tools, you are responsible for making sure you are allowed to import and share that material. openchats is not responsible for content you import from third-party services.

Paid plans and chat credits

Some parts of openchats may require payment. Paid plans may include chat credits or other usage-based allowances. Prices, plan details, and included usage may change over time.

Unless we say otherwise, paid purchases are non-refundable except as described in our Refund Policy or where required by law.

Availability and changes

openchats is an evolving product. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time, including free or paid functionality, with or without notice.

Termination and enforcement

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access if we believe you violated these terms, created risk for openchats or others, or used the service in a way that is abusive, unlawful, or harmful.

openchats is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the service will always be available, secure, error-free, or suitable for any particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, openchats and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from your use of the service.
